Finding Happiness with Filipino Girls

Filipino Girls.

Doom and gloom headlines getting you down?

Just had another relationship break apart on you?

Don’t despair. Try the happiness fix I discovered.

There truly is nothing like Filipino girls to bring a ray of sunshine into your life. Ask the millions of American men who were gratified enough to chuck in their online lives for a while and fly across the Pacific to romance their women in person, march them up the aisle of a Catholic church and, yes, live contentedly ever after.

The record speaks for itself: Filipino girls are among the most popular choices for American men, outside American women that is, and the divorce rate where the wife is at fault is somewhere between nonexistent and 0.1%.

I should know. I married one and continually marvel at my brood of three: a happy mixture of blonde, black hair, sloe chestnut eyes and wide-eyed green, pale-skinned, tan, and all well-behaved.

The Filipino girl is, after all, as family-oriented as they come in Asia. Hubby comes first, of course, followed by the children.

Next come immense networks of grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, cousins, nephews and nieces.

Ask other gratified couples and you’ll realize why even the long-distance relationships work. The thing is, Filipino girls want to hook up with us, too. Sure, they’ll happily pass the time with Canadians, Kiwi’s, Brits and the odd Aussie or two. But even in these parlous times, America is a magnet like no other.

Let’s call a spade a spade and admit that the Philippines is really an outpost of America. Culturally, Filipino girls give you all the advantages of a people that is innately warm, hospitable, pious and joyous but overlaid with rich layers of Americana.

The land is beautiful and the women gorgeous (click here for more on this).

Thanks to our one and only imperial adventure in Asia, there are innumerable similarities: government, political and judicial systems, education, books, magazines, cable and satellite TV.

You can take English literacy for granted. And folks there have at least a passing acquaintance with current events in the U.S., if only because something like 85% of Web sites Filipino girls routinely access are right here.

See what else I have to say about this feels-right fit in this article.

That said, there are cultural differences.

The country is predominantly Catholic and the politics distinctly right of center. Most are instinctively right-to-lifers, for example, though they won’t toss bombs at abortion clinics to make their point.

They are gregarious where we are solitary, laid back where we are hard-driving and blissfully tolerant whereas large numbers of Americans need legislation to overcome discrimination.

Not for nothing are Filipino girls the modern offspring of centuries at the crossroads of East Asia. On a personal level, this article tells you more about “vive la difference”, Filipino girl version while if you have a look here it starts you on the path to hooking up with sincere, marriage-minded Filipino girls.

But, like the Bard said, “all’s fair in love and war.” So hold on to your credit card details until you have picked up some online relationship cautions in in this article.

For those new to the game of online friendship and romance, be sure to check out my do’s and don’ts for good, reliable Web sites (Tips & Tricks).

If you’re not the type to play a huge field, an excellent choice is the mix of city-bred and rural lasses who congregate in a dating website in the central Philippines. Not too many sign-up’s to jostle with for attention either, as I found out when investigating matters for Cebuanas.

Now if you want to cozy up to the ladies in a bilingual site – calling all expat Filipinos and Americans out there who’ve picked up conversational “Tagalog” – learn about my experiences with this third great site I dissect here).

And for all those absolutely serious about romance and the possibilities of marrying a Filipino girl, check out the pages of compatibility criteria I describe in (Filipina Heart). Can’t beat the number of members they have either.

Best of luck, folks! Let me know how it turns out by leaving your happy-ending story below. I would love to hear from you as well as which online dating site worked best for you?
