Hotel, shopping malls in manila

Hi,

My name is Roland and I'm from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.

I'm planning to go for a holiday in Manila this Dec. 2010, with my family (my wife Maria with my two sons Tristan, 3 and Ethan 4 mths).

We will be taking a flight from Kota Kinabalu airport to Clark airport, Philippines.

My question is, what is the best way of transportation for us to take, to Manila?

Any nice 3-star hotel (price ranging from Malaysian Ringgit 100.00 to 150.00)that you can recommend to me (preferably somewhere Makati area, as this area is recommended by my friends).

Or any hotel or apartel in the Mall of Asia?

Thx 4 the info Brett. How about the cost for me taking cab from Clark to Makati, Manila? Would it be costly? Spare me some info on this pls. Thx again... Cheers!
