Hotels in Boracay Philippines – Where on Boracay?

The main areas for accommodation on Boracay are White beach, which is the beach you see on all the travel brochures, you have seen the images, bleached white powdery sand as far as the eye can see and its true the beach is beautiful. It’s on White Beach that the actual beach is at its widest and most calm. This makes it ideal for the majority of Hotels in Boracay Philippines.

For tourists the beach is divided into three (3) sections, Boat Station 1, Boat Station 2 and Boat Station 3, this pretty much divides the accommodation levels on Boracay as well.

Hotels in Boracay – Boat Station 1

Boat Station 1 is where the five star Boracay resorts can be found, right on the beach.

If you are not on a budget then this is where you want to stay. Boat Station 1 is also generally quieter.

Hotels in Boracay – Boat Station 2

Boat Station 2 is the entertainment area.

It has restaurants, cafes and its fair share of drinking holes, the places where most people don’t have a budget or maybe they should!

Boat Station 2 on Boracay is also where the shopping areas are, there is also a good mixture of accommodation.

I don’t recommend you staying here mainly because its very noisy and busy, then again if that’s what you are after, then Boat Station 2 is just for you.

Boracay Accommodation

Hotels in Boracay – Boat Station 3

Boat Station 3 is probably the least developed or maybe the last to be developed.

It has the most budget and bargain accommodation on Boracay. That being said you can still get bargains on top end hotels in Boracay Philippines. I guess ”bargain” means different things to different people, depending on your budget of course!

These three Boat Stations cover White Beach.

Now if you love kite boarding and windsurfing then you need to get yourself to the other side (windward) of Boracay.

Hotels in Boracay Philippines - Bulabog Beach

Bulabog Beach is known as the best place in Asia for kite boarding and windsurfing. Obviously this side of the island enjoys steady winds, which are not on White Beach. Bulabog beach is a water sports delight.
