Hi,

I presume that you are Australian.

If you are an Australian, then you won't need a visa. You will be issued with a 21 days tourist visa upon arrival at the airport.

Longer stays than 21 days will require you to obtain a visa.

I recently come back from phils 5 weeks holiday. It's recommended u get visa before leaving Australia. Download form section9a visa from philippine website. U must provide valid passport 6 months, application form, return airline ticket, and itinery (where u stay). I got visa issued on same day payed extra $20 fee (70 in total). Best pay extra fee and usually hassle free.

Philippine embassey is good reference. Depends where u live. In Melbourne open two days a week. So check hours of whether u need an appointment. Visa last upto 59 days

Also u can apply for extended visa at BOM in phils (not recommended). As long u apply before 21 day expiry though lines are big at Manila office. Avoid the hassle do before ur holiday and just relax!!!!!
