Pinoy Shame

The most delusional thing is this idiotic “Filipino Pride” bullshit.

I know you’re thinking that. You look around at all the filth, the rudeness, ignorance, the way they treat each other like animals, the way they will lie, cheat, and steal from you, as if it’s the normal, right thing to do, and not have a single reservation about it. They vote their corrupt leaders back into office over and over for 50 pesos per vote…the list can go on and on. And you wonder, WHAT IS THERE TO BE PROUD OF???? These people will steal from their own mother, and their mothers will steal from them, AS IF IT’S EXPECTED AND COMPLETELY NORMAL.

If they are proud of being about the most stupid, incompetent, corrupt, dishonest, delusional imbeciles on earth, then I understand “Filipino Pride”.

Earlier I mentioned the "Chinese hack." Im not a Filipino, educated or otherwise, but an American married to a wonderful Filipina. Yes, I am educated...JD and BA... but I write from considerable experience in the Philippines.

Stereotypes have some basis of truth
by: Anonymous

I lived there for many years with my filipino wife and I have to agree with pretty much everything you wrote. I will add that While i was working there I saw and experienced how terribly the hard working people are treated by their employers, Admin. staff, supervisors. But I also saw that if they are not treated like that, then the workers are slack/hiding and sleeping. The way the male staff would talk around, and to, the female staff when i was around disgusted me and i felt bad for the embarrassed females who have to put up with that. I saw nothing for them to feel proud about, but plenty they should be ashamed about.
-The guy that mentioned something about your comment being a Chinese hack, is probably an "educated" filipino who considers himself better than other filipinos. I know the Chinese do not like filipino's and I can't really blame them. Visit the Philippines but do not stay.

Uncannily true
by: Windy

What prompted you to write that is privy to you.

From what I know, been there - seen it all, it is true about what describe about the Filipino mentality and behavior, not only towards foreigners but even amongst themselves and within their own family members.

As my Filipina wife describes it, dog eat dog situation.

In fact, you have been mild in your description. I have seen, not heard of, much worse than that.

PINOY PRIDE = IGNORANCE + ARROGANCE
by: Anonymous

PINOY PRIDE = IGNORANCE + ARROGANCE.

That combination is dangerous, coupled with being very religious so whatever they do they believe they will be forgiven.

Dan Brown was correct describing as the gates of hell. Its a shit-hole with criminally dangerous peasants being supported in their stupidity of thoughts, actions and values, all being driven by their religious following that keeps them enslaved.

Does the rest of the world care? NO.

Slaves and idiots are part of God's plan and he choose these pathetic slobs.

evil

Well, the "presentation" is a bit high-spirited, however, I cannot refute the subject matter.

Certainly, it doesn't speak to "ALL" of them, male or female, but unfortunately that's what makes the most memorable impressions.

Shakespeare once wrote: "The evil that men do lives after them;. The good is oft interrèd with their bones'".

How true to form, even today!

What world do you live in?
by: Mark Claytor

Your rant sounds like a Chinese hack. You either know nothing of Filipinos or have an axe to grind because a Filipino smarter or more diligent has beaten you in love or a business deal. Sour grapes; go home dude.
