Pinakbet

by ray manglicmot
(sacramento, ca usa )

Well, either I can't spell or I'm blind? But I don't see the food up here anywhere...The name of the dish is Pinakbet! LOL...

I'm probably spelling it wrong but anyhow...It's real good. It can be fishy because of the bagoong (Pink shrimp paste) but its pretty tasty and Ono ono (Good )

You make it with tomatoes, eggs plant, bitter melon, pork, Chinese green beans and bagoong (pink fish sauce for flavoring) pour it over hot jasmine steam rice and oh la la

Pinakbet is one of the favorite food for filipinos. We must be proud of this dish.
