hello there.

Im a filipina and will travel to Oman very soon and i want to know if;

Do i need to show the original tourist visa before leaving philippines or a copy of it will do?

The travel agency from oman who arranged my tours sent me a copy of my tourist visa on my email and told me that my visa is deposited on the visa dept on oman airport and that i need to get that on arrival before passing to their immigration.

So i want to know, does a copy of my tourist visa let out of the philippines?

coz i dont see any prob leaving my country if they wont hehe!!

i just want to make sure since this is from my travel n tours.

VISIT VISA
by: FLOR

I am working here in Oman. My daughter will visit me soon. I am worried in our immigration office at the airport since, she has only a xerox copy of Oman visit visa. I will deposit the visa in the police immigration office in Muscat Airport and I will send the deposit slip to my daughter through e-mail. Is she allowed to leave Manila with only duplicate copy of deposit slip in her position. She will get the original copy of her visit visa upon her arrival in Muscat.
I'll appreciate your kind consideration on my request.

Oman visa

If your going to Oman (regardless of the visa type) and you will use only a scan copy of the visa, the Immigration Officer in the Philippines will allow you to travel provided you have the other documents that will support the visa that you use. Like for working visa, you also have to present the OEC, contract, pdos etc. Once you arrived in Oman airport, you have to claim the original visa in the airport. It would be better if you will ask for a copy of a visa deposit slip from your sponsor.

I only have a photo copy of the Visa and a round trip ticket, the original visa will be deposited to Muscat airport, is there anything else i have to present in the airport before leaving. Please advise if there is anything required before leaving,I don't want to delay my travel.

express visa to oman.
by: Anonymous

A company offered me a job in oman..and they issued an express visa which according to them was deposited in the point of entry.

I insisted that they should send me the original visa and supporting documents from their company(supporting letters) duly signed by the company representative and as much as possible signed by our consulate in Oman with authorized stamp.

Will the immigration people allow me to leave the country?

Please need your help..

copy of visa for oman
by: Brett

Hi,

I am not sure about a visa for Oman but I seriously ask you to check with the Oman embassy as to this procedure as what your travel agency is doing is not a normal protocol.

I also doubt the Philippines immigration will let you leave the country with a copy of a visa.

Kind Regards
Brett
