is Manila a safe place?

Hi:
I am a foreigner and planning to go and stay in manila for sake of my daughters, study.

Please advise me if Manila is a safe place to live for foreigners especially for ladies?

I heard some streets are very dangerous especially at night.

I will be grateful if i have your advice and direction.

Safety in Manila

Hi Mar,

Manila is generally as safe as any other city in the world can be.

Of course, there are places (as in other countries) where a foreigner is not advised to venture, even more in the dark and being a lady.

As the saying goes, ?Don?t go looking for trouble and you won?t get trouble?.
