Getting Started in Angeles City

by SHRADER GANT
(GRAND PRAIRIE, TX, USA)

My son, Zack, is a Disable Vet that needs a Contact in Angeles to help him locate a cheap apt or condo in the Expat section.

He has his disability checks, but needs an “older brother” to show him the ropes on getting a Visa, Bank Account, etc for a few days. He is back in the states, but plans to move there early January or February.

What is the best way to get from the Airport in Manilla to Angeles City?

He tried it in Manila for a few weeks, but had trouble getting thru the language barrier.

WHEELCHAIRS-ANGELES CITY

I would first suggest you go to the Philippine-travelers blog at: http://www.philippine-travelers.com. In fact, I believe he is still in the Philippines right now. he helped me and my wife a couple years ago and is the most knowing person I have ever met on the subject. Be sure t read the website and you will see what I mean. When he accompanied me there in my wheelchair, we stayed at the Swagman Hotel. The Swagman hotel in Manila picked us up at the airport and also also has a hotel in Angeles City, and they have a bus that travels back and forth twice a day. Other than that, I believe you should check with Ken at Philippine-travelers.com. GOOD LUCK
