Heritage Hotel Manila, Five Star Luxury 4 km from the airport.
The Heritage Hotel Manila, top service hotel close to the airport with Manila Bay Views
As you come form the Manila Airport, either the International or Domestic terminals, the Heritage Hotel Manila is the first luxurious five star hotel you will come to.
The Heritage Hotel Manila’s situation is ideal for both tourists and business travelers as you are less then 10 minutes to the airports and close to the entertainment areas of Ermita and Malate, where you can enjoy some of the best restaurants and bars in Manila
Within 2 kilometres of the Heritage Hotel Manila you have:
The World Trade Centre.
Philippine International Convention Centre.
Philippine Trade & Training Centre.
Japanese Embassy.
Cultural Centre of the Philippines
Folk Arts Theatre.
If you need to get to the following, they are about 4 kilometres away:
Nino Aquino International Airport.
Philippine Stock Exchange.
Makati City (Business District).
United States Embassy.
You are also right on Roxas Boulevard which is the main road which runs parallel to Manila Bay, so you can enjoy one of the most colouful sunsets in the world from the Heritage hotel.
The Lobby
As you would come to expect from most five star hotels first impressions are important, after all you are parting with a sizable amount of money. Whenever I arrive at any hotel it is important for me to see what my dollar is buying. When I’m coughing up large amounts of money I like to see something real nice, special even. Your first view of the Heritage Hotel Manila is what you would expect from a big city hotel, but the distinguishing factors are determined as soon as you walk through the door.
I want to see something that is special and relaxing and I want hotel staff to be friendly and happy to help. The last thing I want when I get off the plane and arrive at my hotel is cranky hotel staff who couldn’t care less about my stay.
Luckly for me whenever I arrive at the Heritage Hotel Manila I’m always greeted with a friendly smile and helping hand, this appears to be a culture right through the staff at the Heritage Hotel Manila.
But the item that always stands out for me is the lobby. Not because it is spectacular but because it is very “Heritage”, clean, cool and welcoming.
The Rooms
In total the Heritage Hotel Manila has 467 rooms and depending on your budget you can stay in either a Deluxe Room or the one and only Presidential Suite! For me I like to have a nicely appointed, clean and spacious room and the Deluxe and the Superior Rooms offer just that and are not about to make you poor. All the rooms have stocked mini bars and internal room safety deposit boxes, which are a must, make sure you use them. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities. Also for the non smoker they have non smoking rooms, which is a blessing for the non smoker.
Now all rooms as you would expect are air conditioned, no big deal I hear you say, however you can adjust the tempreture in your room and it actually works, which is kind of rare in my travels.
The rooms at the Heritage Hotel Manila also have computer and facsimile ports for those who need to access the outside world online and cable TV with 40 odd channels. To complete the rooms off the bathrooms are all in marble with a hairdryer for those who need one.
Guest Facilities
You notice class and comfort in the small details, the things you take for granted, what I enjoy the most is the personalized service, nothing is too much trouble. The guest facilities are all in keeping with what you should expect from a five star hotel and the heritage Hotel Manila delivers, an outdoor swimming pool, not particularly large but definitely large enough to soak some of the grime you collect whilst traveling. For the traveling family there is also a children’s pool alongside the main pool. For those who need an exercise fix there is also a small gym with a sauna and Jacuzzi.
For those on business the Heritage Hotel also can provide meeting rooms with full secretarial service, which can be useful if you are out of the office and need to send or arrange urgent documentation.
Dining
The Heritage Hotel Edsa Manila also has two restaurants, the Restaurant Riviera and the New Hong Kong Golden Pavilion Restaurant.
The Restaurant Riviera is a buffet style restaurant offering international cuisine for lunch and dinner.
The New Hong Kong Golden Pavilion Restaurant dishes up Cantonese, Japanese and Korean food. If you do pass through try one of the German brewed beer, not bad.
