Travel to Sariaya, Quezon

by Jah Razonable
(Pasig)

My partner and i will be celebrating our 4th year anniversary would like to be more adventurous this time.

I would like to know how do you get to Sariaya, Quezon?

How much is it to go there and our main plan is to get to the historical places like the one i heard in Rizal St.

Is this a good idea and safe one too?

Sariaya Quezon
by: Brett

Hi Jah,

Sariaya Quezon lies between the Laguna and Batangas. It is actually the 3rd town after San Pablo City, Laguna or the town just before Lucena city.

By public transport, you can take the aircon buses heading to Lucena City that are located at the bus terminals at Buendia/LRT.

The bus route starts from Pasay-SLEX-Calamba- Sto Tomas- Alaminos- San Pablo City- Tiaong- Candelaria- Sariaya- Lucena.

Total travelling time is around 3 hours plus.

If you opt to drive yourself, take the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX ) all the way to San Pablo City and onwards to Quezon Province. The 1st town you meet is Tiaong. The 2nd town that you will pass by is Candelaria.

Sariaya is the next town after Candelaria. Travel in the Philippines is generally safe for tourists except for the southern region of the country.

Just take the normal precautions with regards to crime of opportunity as you would when you are travelling to any other new places.
