Travel to Angeles City

Because Angeles city is in close proximity to Manila, you have several options of getting there.

It is linked by a well established network of roads and also has the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport to service it and the surrounding areas.

Travel To Angeles City by Air

Angeles city is one of the few cities in the Philippines that has its own airport.

So getting there is relatively easy by air. There are direct international flights to the airport as well as domestic flights to the airport.

Domestic flights will naturally originate from NAIA. The airlines that fly directly from international destinations to and from Diosdado Macapagal International Airport are:
  • From Malaysia; AirAsia (www.airasia.com)
  • From Korea; Asiana Airlines (http://www.flyasiana.com/english/)
  • From the Republic of Palau; Pacific Flier (www.pacificflier.com)
  • From Singapore; Tiger Airways (www.tigerairways.com)

The domestic airlines that flies to Diosdado Macapagal International Airport from various local and International destinations are:
  • From Cebu, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore and Macau; Cebu Pacific (www.cebupacificair.com)
  • From Caticlan; South East Asian Airlines (www.flyseair.com)
  • From Tapei; Spirit of Manila (www.spiritofmanilaairlines.com)

Travel to Angeles City By Land

By Bus
Angeles city is approximately 90 kilometres away from Manila. Hence, journey by road, depending on the traffic, will take about 2 to 3 hours via the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX).

There are numerous bus and shuttle service operating from Clark to Manila and vice versa. The bus companies that ply the Manila/Clark route are Victory Liner and Rabbit Bus.

The Rabbit bus company terminal is at Rizal Avenue around the corner of Recto Avenue.

Victory Liner terminals can be found at Edsa, Cubao and Pasay. The bus fare for the journey ranges from 150 php to 300php.

In additional to normal bus services, there are also shuttle services operating specifically on the Manila to Angeles city route. The companies that offer these shuttle services are:

The fare for the shuttle bus service from Manila to Angeles city will cost you approximately 210php.

Travel to Angeles City By Taxi

If you find taking the bus unnerving, you also have the option of hiring a taxi.

Be sure to that the taxi driver uses his meter which can be difficult as they will tend to try and gouge you for a flat fee which can really be exorbitant.

Travel to Angeles City By Private Hire SUV

A better and safe option will be to hire a private vehicle and driver.

A one way trip from Manila to Angeles City will cost 3500php to 4000php and the vehicle that they use are all late model SUVs.
