Travel from Manilla to Subic Bay

I am arriving in Manila Airport at 9 am on Tuesday 6th April and need to get to Subic Bay to meet up with my friends who have been racing across the South China sea.

Please can you tell me how I can do this?

Manila to Subic Bay
by: Brett

Hi Anne,

There are a number of ways to get to Subic Bay and they will depend on your budget or your timeframe.

By Bus - Victory Liner is a bus company that runs regular journeys from Manila to Subic Bay.

The bus terminals in Manila are at Edsa Pasay, Caloocan City and Edsa Cubao. There are regular trip starting nice and early at 4am and every hour thereafter.

The trip is roughly 110km and will take you a minimum of 3 hours, the duration of the trip really depends on which day and what time of the day you go.

The easiest way to get to the bus terminal once you arrive in Manila is to catch a cab, all the cab drivers will know exactly where to go.

By Car - I don?t mean a rental car, I do not recommend anyone drive in Manila unless they have driven there before.

The quickest way to get to Subic Bay is to hire a car with a driver. The major benefit is they can pick you up from the airport and drive you directly to where you want to go. No fuss with taxi cabs and buses.

There are a number of services that offer airport pickups, but the one I always use can be contacted by filling out the form at the bottom of this page .

A private car with driver is the safest, easiest and quickest way to get to Subic Bay....Brett
