I met this most wonderful lady on the internet. We have a lot in common but before I commit to marriage I want to go there and spend at least two months with her if I can.

I would advise any American man to spend time with a Philippine lady before committing to marriage.

Do not just jump into marriage right away, get to know her first because marriage is a life long commitment not to be taken lightly.

Well said, sir. Been married to an eccentric Englishman now for 34 years. Has 1 daughter and 1 grandson. If I didn't develop a sense of humour , wouldn't have lasted. All I can say is the same as your advise, know each other for longer . There are things to discover from each other, some pleasant and some not so. I have loads of English -Filipino ladies marriage with a very high success rate.
