Manila NAIA Airport transit

by Randall
(Melbourne, Australia)

I am flying to Seoul Korea via Manila from Melbourne Australia.

In both directions, I have to spend a considerable amount of time in transit ... 6 - 8 hours.

Is there anything to do, see, enjoy? I'd rather not go through passport control if it is very involved.

In airports like Singapore and Tokyo, there are showers, restaurants, TVs, etc.

Cheers,

Randall

Hi Randall,

Frankly speaking without passing through passport control, there is nothing much for you to enjoy.

There are 3 terminals at NAIA and terminal 1 and terminal 2 are a little old and lack the modern facilities that you find in Singapore or Tokyo.

Of course, you still get the normal duty free shops and cafes. The exception however is terminal 3 which is new.

The problem is that you might not be landing at this terminal.

P/s Bring your own toilet paper as most toilets in Terminal 1 do not have any.
