Dr. Gina Gonzales Manila Zoo

As a child, the Manila Zoo had a myriad of animals including a large selection of African mammals. Sadly, at a recent visit, I have seen the numbers diminish drastically.

My plea is that the National Philippine Govt. needs to financially support the Manila Zoo and make it a true Philippine Zoo for all Filipinos and tourists to cherish and love.

A new location with more land would be wonderful. Go look at the new Manila Sealife Park at the Quirino Grandstand, Luneta and see how a Philippine/Manila Zoo could benefit from a new start.
