Mati is located in the south eastern most part of Mindanao, it is 165km from Davao City as entry point.

You can reach Mati by bus, van or fastcraft from Lupon.

The best month to surf in Dahican is from October to March. They have a surfer shack there owned by a man by the Mati homegrown waveriders, they are called amihan surf and skim team headed by Jun Plaza.

Dahican is yet to be discovered. Their are several resorts in the area but most surfers go there with camping gear and experience nature at its best.
