Calderata

Calderata

Calderata

Working in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, I had the pleasure to work with many Filipinos and experience some of the best party food I have ever eaten....Calderata!!!!!!!!

I attempted this dish twice; the first time I de-boned the meat and only added a minimal amount of meat. I was immediately asked "where are the bones?" and "where is the meat?".

On the second attempt, after doubling the meat and not removing the bones I was asked "are you sure you are not Filipino?" It is the best food to share with friends and a few beers.

Who ever thought that goat could ever taste so good!!!!

Hi Raymond,

Calderata is a popular Filipino dish specially during fiesta time and your right nothing beats having an icy cold beer to wash it down!

Other popular meats to include are beef or lamb.

Thanks for sharing!

Regards,

Brett
