Balut

I eat balut everytime I am in the Philippines, for 25 years and it has not done me any damage, although the first time I ate the little beastie I had many red horse beers and went with the flow.

Next day my wife bought some more balut off the friendly vendor and in the crisp light of day it was something different, nevertheless I eat balut all the time and the locals seem to respect me for it ..Andrew
