Bagasbas Beach, Daet, Camarines Norte

I tried surfing there once, it was mid-April this year, just in time for Bagasbas Beach's 4th summer surf festival..

The place was really cool and laid back with a lot of surfers and skim boarders enjoying the waves, specially around mid afternoon..

There's a lot of resorts nearby that offer board rental, surf tutorials, plus, the food is pretty cheap but definitely appetizing, perfect for surfers who are on a budget.

Hi! just read your feedback, and thank you! I was just wondering if you're already here in the Philippines cos you said you're gonna go January 2012 (THIS month).. Anyways, i hope you guys enjoy your stay, and try to do everything you could squeeze into your time while you're here, I assure you there are lots of fun things to do (i.e. kitesurfing and wakeboarding, etc) ENJOY!

Thanks for your post, my fiancee & I are headed over to the Philipines for the first time in January 2012. Surfing, Diving & island hopping is the plan. He was thinking of taking his board, but they are such a pain (& expensive) if you move around alot......so its great to know theres places to hire boards, thanks!! :)
