Arrival area of NAIA Terminal I

My plane lands at around 11:00 pm on a Friday night and if lucky I could be done with Immigration, Customs and my baggage claim by 1:00 am on Saturday.

I would like to know if there are places in the NAIA Terminal I - lounge, restaurant, or waiting area that I could stay at rather than travel to Ortigas via metered taxi that late.

I would rather wait until daylight to get on the DOT authorized metered taxis to get to Ortigas around 6:00 in the morning of Saturday.

I don't like to stay in hotels if at all possible.

Would appreciate your advice and list of options.

Thank you.

Motel/Hotel pickup

Last October I arrived the same time, 11pm. The Hotel that I had reservations with also offered a service to pick me up so when I arrived at the airport, they were waiting on me. The service was cheaper than the airport taxi!

If you are this paranoid, why go to the Philippines? Just curious.

AIRPORT TAXIS

I understand there are airport accredited taxis you can use. I believe they are quite safe. You can book at the lounge of the airport and pay a standard fare there. Public taxis are not allowed to pick up passengers from the airport anymore.
Alternatively, most hotels have pick up bus. You just have to let them know .
